America Trip: Stop #2 – North Carolina

From Florida, we flew up to North Carolina where my parents, my grandparents, and Scott’s mom and stepdad live.  My brother, sister-in-law, and new little nephew all came down for a visit, my sister and her Aussie boyfriend as well as Scott’s sister all came home from college, and we even had friends drive from far away to come see us!  We love our family!!!

We had coffee talk with Scott’s beautiful momma.

MaLu (my grandmother) got to meet her great grandson for the first time.

And I got to meet my nephew for the first time.

The pics to the right my grandma brought out of my dad holding my brother when he was a baby.

That’s four generations of William Donald Lupers.

And then of course Little Will spit up.

We had tons of fun family gatherings and laughed a lot!

Scott’s stepdad, Stan, told stories about taking 300 blind people on a fishing trip and our friend Cameron drove from far away to hang.

We were probably picking on my mom for some reason or another.

Dana (my sister) and Nick (her Aussie boyfriend) came to join in the fun too.

Scott’s sister, Kelly, drove down from the mountains cause she loves us.

My incredible sister-in-law, Joanna, put on a surprise baby shower for me where everybody made little man onesies.
My mom hosted an early Thanksgiving turkey dinner for us.  (Check out that bowl of butter beans!)

And what Thanksgiving is complete without green bean casserole.

It took SO MANY tries to get this photo right!

The many faces of little Will:

My best friend from college, Emily, and her husband (to the left of her), Micah, along with another incredible friend from college, Casey, drove down to see us!

No trip to NC would be complete without steak and peel and eat shrimp.  Scott was in heaven.

And last but not least we hosted another promo party for Kai Surf in Wilmington, NC.

We were so happy when Scott’s stepbrother, Teagan, won the board we raffled off.  Though I think he was happier.

Love it! Was that the Cameron from all of Scott’s stories about the Korean guy?

Fun! Wish we could have been there. The string of Will IV’s photos were adorable. Hope Scott is picking up some business here in the States!
